November 3 - The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) through the Health Education Division has organized the 2018-2020 National Level Active Action Kick (WALK) at Setia City Convention Center, Setia Alam on 3 November 2018. This WALK campaign was officiated by YAB Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad where it aims to educate Malaysians to cultivate physical activity in daily life.
Various activities have been conducted in this WALK campaign starting from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm. Teaching Hospital Universiti Putra Malaysia (HPUPM) has been given the opportunity to promote the hospital while promoting an active way of life with the participation of CPR Dance for a pocket promo and demo session which starts at 3.00 pm. The CPR Dance Group was led by Dr Fadhlina Zakaria, in collaboration with 16 Medical students from the Putra Medical Club with the aim of introducing HPUPM and demonstrating how CPR is easy to apply to the public.
Starting with the Zumba dance that attracted visitors to work, CPR Dance members have also provided gimmicks in which a participant falls during exercise and unconscious. Within that scene, CPR dance experts show the correct CPR procedures of dealing with the situation in the future. Description of CPR was also implemented shortly after the dance session which had given knowledge to the public.
The pocket promo session which lasted for about 10 to 15 minutes was smoothly and successfully delivered surprises and knowledge to visitors. It is one of the successful programs under the HPUPM Promotion Program Series for 2018 and had achieved the objective to introduce HPUPM to the public.
